Anyone who looks at the picture would certainly think that they are posing for a photo after a great deed! I am sorry, but the fact is that they are standing outside the classroom after being asked to get out of the class for not completing their assignments!
However, the most beautiful fact is that both the acts of asking them to get out of the class and the experience of being asked to get out neither hurt me nor the persons standing out – for there is a bond of love that connects us deeply that is beyond what I can express through my words. Their smile perhaps is the greatest sign of the same.
By the way, I love the way they hold their fingers whenever I get ready to take their picture and I wonder during the boring moments of marking attendance, instead of standing up and say mechanically ‘Present Sir’ why can’t they simply raise their fingers with the same gesture with a smile on their face and say Yo!
Nevertheless, like that of anywhere else, these formalities spoil the beauty of a class that I would rather call a place teachers to love their students…where the very process of interaction enlighten their soul for the very best in their lives!
Yo gentlemen! I love you!
